  The Generation Equality Forum which set off in Mexico City on 29 th March and culminates in Paris on 2 nd July is the most significant milestone for gender equality since the Beijing world conference in 1995. This ground-breaking multi-generational campaign and global gathering is convened by UN Women and co-hosted by the governments of Mexico and France.   Considering that no country has so far achieved full gender equality, the Forum will foster a series of transformative actions, including investments and policies, to accelerate the progress for gender equality by 2030.
